1 - Switch ON your without any SIM Card,
2 - Press the left arrow key/button once,
3 - Press the button * twice,
4 - Press the left arrow key/button once,
5 - A List of locks will be displayed along with their status
If your does not have a left arrow button/key(e.g. Sony Ericsson W950i) and on a few phones(not all) that have a "JOGDIAL" you must press the "down arrow" key/button instead of the "left arrow" key/button for step 2 & 4. We mean by "Down Arrow" to direct the Jogdial down! In the Sony Ericsson W950i and some other models, the down arrow button/key would be located on the side of the phone.
For Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mobile phones, if the above instructions do not work, please follow these instructions:
1 - Switch ON your Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 phone
2 - Press the Menu Key once,
3 - Press the Back Key twice,
4 - Press the Menu Key once,
5 - Press the Back Key once,
6 - Press the Menu Key twice,
7 - Press the Back Key once,
8 - A List of locks will be displayed along with their status.
You should get a list similar to this:
Network(NCK)
Network Subset(NSCK)
SP (SPK)
Corporate(CCK)
Extended(ESL)
You will see a little Locked/Unlocked padlock next to each of the locks displayed. An unlocked padlock means that: that particular lock is not locked. A locked padlock means that: that particular lock is in place and your phone is restricted by that lock.
